Training Manager Open Position

AgileSparks Training business is growing rapidly in North America. We are looking for someone that will help us continue to scale the business by taking on a variety of responsibilities related to managing the training operation. This will include coordinating and scheduling classes, logistics, working with class participants to help them register and prepare for the class, support the class trainer, invoicing clients, paying subcontractors and other service providers, and more.

This is a remote position for our Boston-based office.

Some activities you’ll be performing: 

  • Coordinate with service delivery and company leadership regarding training schedule, trainer/facilitator, and location logistics requirements
  • Fielding inbound sales/support calls/chats/emails regarding training events during US work hours.
  • Posting classes online on our site (using WordPress CMS) and relevant partner calendars.
  • Sharing classes on social platforms mainly Linkedin and Facebook
  • Schedule prep/reminder/follow-up emails to all registered participants for all classes
  • Handle offline registration – create and track invoices.
  • For in-person classes – Confirm/negotiate training locations, coordinate catering. 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience as a training coordinator or a similar role. 
  • Advanced skills in MS Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced skills in using Google Suite (G Docs, sheets, slides, etc.)
  • Experience with website content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with changing deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and communication skills. 
  • Experience doing sales/marketing work – ideally in the events/training/professional services industry.

Top Must-Haves:

  • Native-level spoken and written English.
  • Must be able to operate in a dynamic environment with lot of uncertainty.
  • Proactive – Willingness to take the initiative and solve problems, suggest and lead improvements, get things done in spite of hickups and challenges.
  • Great customer interface – you’ll be the face and initial interaction potential customers/students have with us.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment.

Where you’ll be working:

Remotely – home office/co-working space – Ideally in the Greater Boston area.
