Agile Product Management (APM)

Agile Product Managers and Product Owners play a critical role in an Agile development process. They guide the continuous delivery of value and work with Agile teams to achieve fast feedback loops that allow quick learning and adaptation, in accordance with DevOps and Lean Startup principles. Participants in this workshop will gain an understanding of the PO/PM role, learn tools and techniques for effectively managing backlogs, learn how to write Epics, break them into Features and Stories, plan roadmaps, releases and iterations and become a pivotal factor in maximizing the benefits the organization gets from being truly Agile. This course is intended for individuals in organizations that are going through an Agile transformation journey.
To optimize value for participants, and based on our experience, this course contains 2 parts:
3 Half days online workshop
2 weeks online support (through a WhatsApp group)
Learning Goals
Understand the role of Product Owner and Product Manager working in an Agile environment.
- Get a clear understanding of the relevant frameworks implementing Agile and the ways PO/PM are integrated into them.
- Understand how to effectively work with Agile Teams and stakeholders.
- Understand how to manage backlogs, from roadmap to release to iteration, on the Team and the Project levels.
- Understand and practice writing Epics and breaking them into Features and Stories.
Prerequisites
- Having a prior basic familiarity with Agile will help you gain the most out of this course.
