During this three-day course, attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of an RTE in the SAFe enterprise.
Through experiential learning, attendees will explore the intricacies of the RTE role in a Lean-Agile transformation. They will learn how to facilitate ART processes and execution, coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets. They will also learn how to prepare, plan and execute a Program Increment (PI) planning event, the prime enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization.
This is an Advanced SAFe class for active practitioners of SAFe who want to practice SAFe at a higher level, with an emphasis on the program level.
Participants who intend to take the SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification exam are required to have at least one current SAFe certification (Such as SAFe Agilist / Leading SAFe) and to have launched or participated in at least one ART and one PI. This knowledge and experience are assumed during the class.
Typical attendees of the course are practicing Release Train Engineers/Solution Train Engineers as well as Lean/Agile Leaders, Coaches, SPCs and Program/Project/Portfolio Managers involved in a SAFe implementation.
The course, including the breakout sessions, will be delivered in English.
The course will be delivered by Yuval Yeret, SPCT who is helping organizations such as Intel, Siemens, Bank of NY implement SAFe. Hosting us in Stockholm will be Crisp Lean/Agile Consultant Mattias Skarin, who helped LEGO get going with SAFe.
“Yuval’s class is great! His broad experience as a consultant and active member of various agile communities helps in connecting the dots. He also added examples from his own experience to practically every aspect and subject of the class. His interactive teaching style stimulates conversation and learning by building on experiences and knowledge from him and class attendees.”
